Research Publication Award Giving Ceremony-2024 of BUBT Research and Innovation Center

IQAC-BUBT proudly organized a distinguished event, the “Certificate and Award Giving Ceremony 2024,” at the International Conference Hall. The program commenced on March 6th, 2024, at 05:00 PM, marking an evening of recognition, celebration, and academic excellence.
The program was jointly anchored by Mafruha Hossain, Assistant Professor of the Management Department, and Mr. Zaved Mannan, Additional Director of IQAC-BUBT.
The ceremony featured a lineup of distinguished speakers, highlighting the achievements and contributions of individuals across various disciplines. The event unfolded with a warm welcome speech by Prof. Santi Narayan Ghosh, Director of the BUBT Research and Innovation Center (BRIC).
The speech of the ITPARM Participant was delivered by Md. Rejaul Karim, Assistant Professor in the Economics Department, representing the ITPARM (participant of the 5th ITPARM).
The speech of a Receiver of Publication Award, Prof. Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain, Chairman of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) Department, shared insights as a recipient of the Publication Award.
Adding to the grandeur of the occasion were esteemed special guests, Md. Shamsul Huda, FCA, Chairman of BUBT-Trust, and Prof. Dr. Mustafizur Rahman, Distinguished Fellow at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD). Prof. Dr. Shafique Ahmed Siddique, Member of BUBT-Trust, graced the ceremony as the Guest of Honor.
The highlight of the evening was the presence of Prof. Dr. Md. Alamgir, Chairman (Additional Charge) & Member of the University Grants Commission (UGC), who served as the Chief Guest. His speech resonated with the audience as he acknowledged academic excellence and encouraged further strides in research and innovation.
The ceremony also witnessed the distribution of certificates to ITPARM participants (2nd to 5th), along with cash awards and certificates for outstanding researchers.
Prof. Dr. Muhammed Fayyaz Khan, Vice Chancellor of BUBT, assumed the role of the Session Chair, underscoring the university’s commitment to fostering a culture of academic excellence.
The event concluded on a note of gratitude, with Zaved Mannan, Additional Director of IQAC, delivering a heartfelt Vote of Thanks.
On behalf of IQAC-BUBT, Mr. Zaved Mannan expresses sincere appreciation to all participants, speakers, and guests for making the “Certificate and Award Giving Ceremony 2024” a resounding success. A well-served dinner followed the ceremony, attended by all faculty members, chairman, deans and guests at BUBT.
