
The NASA International Space Apps Challenge is a hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, technologists, and innovators around the world to come together and use open data from NASA and its Space Agency Partners to create solutions to challenges we face on Earth and in space. BASIS, Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services, along with BASIS Student’s Forum & Cloud Camp Bangladesh is organizing consecutively for the 12th time NASA Space Apps Challenge 2024 during October 4, Friday and Saturday, October 5, 2024. In this event, one of the groups, students from EEE and CSE, led by Dr. Md Shamsul Arefin, Assistant Professor, attended this hackathon at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), where they successfully demonstrated the solutions of the challenge of ‘Leveraging Earth Observation Data for Informed Agricultural Decision-Making’.
